The formula felt like a gel-powder hybrid–denser but smooth and blendable, which translated to a more “melted” texture on the lid that melded with the lid/skin. The center shade was much sheerer compared to the other shades, which brought down the palette’s overall rating noticeably.

Dune #1 is a brighter, light-medium orange with warm undertones and warmer, gold shimmer that gave it a metallic finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation applied dry, while the dampened application was more metallic and fully pigmented. The texture was smooth, moderately-dense, and blendable while being easy to pick up with a dry brush. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading a bit.

Dune #2 is a medium gold with warmer, more orange undertones and flecks of pink and gold micro-sparkle. It had mostly opaque pigmentation applied both dry and wet, while the latter application gave a slightly smoother result and didn’t have fallout (there was light fallout with the dry application as the texture was slightly dry to the touch). It wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

It had semi-sheer color payoff applied dry and was more medium in coverage and buildable when applied with a dampened brush or a fingertip. The consistency was moderately-dense, smooth, and not powdery without being too firmly-pressed into the pan. This shade showed signs of fading after eight hours of wear.
