Lancome Vintage Ruby & Ruby Star L'Absolu Rouge Ruby Cream Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches

Vintage Ruby (306) Lancome Vintage Ruby (306) L’Absolu Rouge Ruby Cream Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a soft, pink-leaning coral with moderate, warm undertones and a cream finish. It had opaque color coverage that applied fairly evenly to my lips, but there was a bit of product that settled into my lip lines over time. I was able to smooth it out for the most part by pressing my lips together as the color wore down. The texture was moderately dense, more like a velvety-cream but firm enough that there was a little tugging during application. Once on my lips, it was rather comfortable to wear as it stayed in place well but didn’t feel clingy. It wore nicely for four and a half hours and felt lightly hydrating over time. #03 Victoria Beckham Beauty #03 Matte Bronzing Brick ($58.00 for 0.34 oz.) includes two more mid-tone shades of warmer brown with one leaning slightly redder and the other being yellower in its warmth. They were pigmented, blendable, and longer-wearing, and the formula delivered even coverage that blurred my skin slightly. Note: $58 includes the price of the bronzer duo in its compact.
