Venetian Red Lisa Eldridge Venetian Red Enlivening Blush ($34.00 for 0.5 oz.) is a deeper, more muted red with warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It allowed the natural finish of my skin to come through but wasn’t dewy. It had more buildable coverage; per the brand, I used a very small amount, and it yielded semi-sheer coverage, and once blended out, sheer, as the formula had a thinner, more spreadable consistency that wanted to be sheered and spread out. I’d recommend starting off that way and then patting more product on top in the places that you want. The formula worked well over bare skin as well as on top of foundation as it wasn’t prone to moving it around. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading visibly on my skin. I’ve had a couple of readers ask if there were any issues squeezing out product from the tubes, and I did not have issues with most of them, but Pink Poetry was challenging to dispense from the beginning (and hasn’t improved).
