Bright Poppy Wayne Goss Bright Poppy The Weightless Veil Blush Palette ($45.00 for 0.67 oz.) features a bright, shimmery coral blush with a warm, coppery brown highlighter. Both shades were very pigmented, which was not at all how they were described (“veil” of color, featuring pigments that “build up,” and “soft wash” were all used as descriptors), and you’d really have to use a very light hand to get sheer coverage out of either–which may or may not be a good thing depending on your preferences. They both were longer-wearing, and the highlighter applied easily, while the blush was better over a more matte finish as it wasn’t foolproof to apply over bare skin or if one was using a more luminous base–I could make it work, but it wasn’t the most blendable over bare skin. The duos are intentionally larger–it’s a massive amount of product as most blushes are around 0.15 to 0.20 oz.–but oddly, the formula only has a nine-month shelf life, which is rather short for a powder product. ...
