It had semi-sheer color coverage that applied evenly to my lips and spread readily across them. The texture was lightweight but plusher in feel–it wasn’t tacky or heavy but had substance to it, which helped to smooth out my lip lines (instead of settling into them!). It had buildable pigmentation from medium to opaque (two to three layers or a heavier hand) that applied evenly to my skin and diffused easily along the edges. It darkened about half a shade when applied over bare skin but would retain its color trueness if applied over setting powder or a matte foundation. The texture was soft, smooth, and blendable without being too powdery nor too firmly-pressed into the pan. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading a bit.
