Best of Melt Cosmetics x Beetlejuice Collection

Here’s a recap of the recently-released Melt Cosmetics x Beetlejuice CollectionMelt Cosmetics x Beetlejuice Collection, which came and sold through for most products, though the palettes seem to be the last items standing (especially as they are also available at Sephora). Per the brand’s answer to a customer’s question on their Instagram, it appears they will not have any restocks. The standouts from the launch were the Gel Liners/Eye Paint, though the colors of The Waiting Room are interesting–they’re just a little redundant!

Wine and Only ColourPop Wine and Only 9-Pan Pressed Powder Palette ($14.00 for 0.36 oz.) is the newest release–and I think one of the last of the year–that includes a mix of shimmers and matte shades in a wine-inspired color story. The mattes were nicer than the shimmers, on the whole, though Grapeful has a ton of sparkle and not much that keeps it bound with the base, so that one had a lot of fallout. That's Taupe Colour Pop That’s Taupe 9-Pan Pressed Powder Palette ($14.00 for 0.30 oz.) is a new, nine-pan palette that is taupe-themed. It includes five matte eyeshadows, three shimmer eyeshadows, and one Super Shock Shadow (Slated). The matte eyeshadows were fairly smooth and velvety, blendable, and easy to work with, while the shimmers were so-so. I found the shimmers to be drier and more prone to fallout and lacking shine unless applied with a dampened brush (which wasn’t always the case with ColourPop’s shimmer formula).
