Holo'daze
Fenty Beauty Holo’daze Mini Gloss Bomb Set ($36.00 for 0.72 oz.) is a new, limited edition set of four, miniature-sized lipglosses in all new, set-exclusive shades. This is a formula I’m familiar with on a personal-level, as the original Gloss Bomb is one I keep in my bag (or at my desk) for on-the-go or post-testing hydration.
These four were consistent–sheerer coverage, non-sticky and plush textures, and decent longevity but will require regular reapplication. I find this formula to be very hydrating and comfortable to wear, which was true with all four shades. Ruby Milk didn’t apply as evenly for me as the other shades, though from afar, I imagine it wouldn’t be a deal-breaker for most.

Baby Brut
Baby Brut is a light peach with strong, warm undertones and fine, white micro-sparkle through a milkier base. It had semi-sheer color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly but settled a bit into some of my deeper lip lines. It applied better than a lot of milky glosses have for me, but there was still room for improvement. The texture was lightweight, smooth, and spreadable with a plush, more gel-like feel. This shade lasted nicely for three hours and felt hydrating over time.

The consistency was very smooth, light-to-medium in weight, non-sticky, and comfortable to wear. It had a plusher consistency that helped it stay out of most of my lip lines. The shimmer was moderate but noticeable, and it distributed evenly across the lips. They last about three hours on my lips but are hydrating.

Cake Shake
Cake Shake is a soft, rosy bronze with warm undertones and a glossy, sparkling finish. It seemed to have finer pearl and some micro-sparkle. The color appeared warmer, almost coral-like, when applied to my lips. It had semi-sheer pigmentation that applied evenly and spread out well. The texture was smooth, plush, and thicker without being heavy or tacky. It wore well for four hours and felt moisturizing while worn.

Taffy Tease
Taffy Tease is a medium, pink-coral with faint, gold pearl through a more cream-like finish. It had semi-sheer color coverage that spread evenly across my lips and didn’t emphasize my lip lines. The consistency was smooth, lightweight, and plush with some creaminess, so it was comfortable to apply and to wear. It stayed on well for three and a half hours and felt hydrating over time.

Ruby Milk is a medium, fuchsia pink with cooler, blue undertones and fine violet and gold pearl. It had semi-sheer color payoff that applied somewhat evenly; the formula didn’t seem prone to settling into my lip lines, but it read patchy to my eye. The lipgloss had a smooth, spreadable consistency that was plush, non-sticky, and like a creamier gel. It lasted nicely for four hours and felt moisturizing while worn.
