Giorgio Armani Vintage (500) Ecstasy Lacquer ($38.00 for 0.2 oz.) is a medium copper-orange with warm undertones and flecks of gold and pink shimmer throughout. It had more medium coverage, which could be built up with a second layer to have more semi-opaque coverage if desired, but I felt like the product was most comfortable to wear with just one layer.
The color applied fairly evenly, but it wasn’t the most impressive within the range that I’ve tried. The best part about it was the longevity, as it stained my lips a reddish hue over time, but the shine and actual color lasted for five hours well and felt hydrating while worn.

The Ecstasy Lacquer formula is supposed to have the shine of a gloss, color and hydration of a lipstick, and the long-wear of a stain, though they say “applied in a single layer for a subtle touch of color … or in a layered application for a bold, statement lip.”
It has a floral scent, which is noticeable in the tube and for an hour or so of wear (particularly strong when it is drying down). There is a slight taste to me, as well. Initially, the formula is thin and more water-like, but after you’ve applied it, the consistency thickens, levels out, and “adheres” to your lips in a very comfortable wear. The consistency is mostly non-sticky and gradually gets a lightly tacky about half-way through wear.

Giorgio Armani Amber (302) Ecstasy Lacquer ($38.00 for 0.2 oz.) is a bright, orange-red base with green-to-gold shifting pearl. That shift was entirely unexpected but really gave it a different look and feel compared to most similar shades (in terms of orange-red with gold). It had semi-opaque color coverage in a single layer that spread evenly across my lips without emphasizing my lip lines.
The texture was lightweight, almost watery initially, but it developed a more gel-like texture that had moderate tackiness but didn’t feel heavy. It left a strong, reddish stain behind, and the shine and color were going strong after six hours of wear. The formula felt hydrating over time.
