Caring Coral (02) Huda Beauty Caring Coral (02) GloWish Cheeky Vegan Blush Powder ($21.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a brighter, medium-dark pink with moderate, warm undertones and a soft, satin sheen. It seemed to have less of a glow in its finish, even when blended out and diffused along the edges, compared to other shades in the range but was definitely more than matte. It had nearly opaque color payoff in one layer, so I had to use a lighter hand to pick up less product for sheerer, more buildable coverage as marketed. The texture was smooth to the touch, soft without being powdery, and a little firmer/thinner but not in a way that impeded the application. Parallel ColourPop Parallel Super Shock Cheek (Highlighter) ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a brighter, medium pink base that was slightly more neutral-to-cool in undertone, while it had contrasting, golden pearl throughout that gave it a luminous sheen. It had more opaque pigmentation when applied with a fingertip and sheerer, more buildable coverage when applied with a synthetic brush, as marketed. I liked applying the formula with a fingertip and diffusing with the clean edge of a different fingertip, as the color spread well, wasn’t prone to lifting up base products, and was very forgiving. The consistency was emollient to the touch, but it was a thin, lightweight formula that turned to something more powder-like once it came into contact with skin. Pink Rose (466) Dior Pink Rose (466) Rouge Dior Lip Color (2021) ($40.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium, pink-leaning coral with a frosted finish. It had a lightweight, moderately emollient consistency that was thin without being clingy, so it applied fluidly across my lips but didn’t slide around while worn. It had semi-opaque, buildable color payoff that went on evenly, though a touch of product settled into my deeper lip lines–not enough to be noticeable in person.
