Wine and Only ColourPop Wine and Only 9-Pan Pressed Powder Palette ($14.00 for 0.36 oz.) is the newest release–and I think one of the last of the year–that includes a mix of shimmers and matte shades in a wine-inspired color story. The mattes were nicer than the shimmers, on the whole, though Grapeful has a ton of sparkle and not much that keeps it bound with the base, so that one had a lot of fallout. The shimmers were decent but did not perform as well as some past shimmers have from the brand. For those keeping count, there are a few Pressed Pigments, which come with the warning that they are not intended for use around the immediate eye area under FDA regulations, though these types of pigments are approved for usage on the eye in areas like the EU. ColourPop That's Taupe Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

That's Taupe Colour Pop That’s Taupe 9-Pan Pressed Powder Palette ($14.00 for 0.30 oz.) is a new, nine-pan palette that is taupe-themed. It includes five matte eyeshadows, three shimmer eyeshadows, and one Super Shock Shadow (Slated). The matte eyeshadows were fairly smooth and velvety, blendable, and easy to work with, while the shimmers were so-so. I found the shimmers to be drier and more prone to fallout and lacking shine unless applied with a dampened brush (which wasn’t always the case with ColourPop’s shimmer formula). Mauve Wives Fenty Beauty Mauve Wives Gloss Bomb Cream ($19.00 for 0.3 oz.) is a muted, medium mauve with subtle, cool undertones and a glossy, cream finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation in one layer, which applied evenly and spread easily across my lips, but there was a bit of product that settled into my lip lines–not quite enough to be noticeable from a normal viewing distance. The texture was non-sticky, smooth, and plush without being too thick, though I felt like it was thicker than ideal for building up color as a second layer did feel noticeably thick and heavier.
