Best Products of the Week | Vol. 303

Hope your weekend is starting off on the right note! Every Saturday, I like to share the top 10 products from the last week of reviews. It’s a nice way to highlight what reviews have been published recently. Similarly, I love reading–and I know others enjoy sharing!–their own “week in review” when it comes to what makeup/beauty products they may have used and/or enjoyed. What was your week in review like? Copy and paste the lil’ survey below and share your answers in the comments Your skin tone/coloring : Look you loved this week? : Any new or old favorites discovered? : Any product you’re hoping to use next week? : Continue Reading source https://www.temptalia.com/best-products-of-the-week-vol-303/

ColourPop Love Bite & Double Cherry Glossy Lip Stains Reviews & Swatches

Love Bite ColourPop Love Bite Glossy Lip Stain ($8.00 for 0.21 fl. oz.) is a rich, medium-dark red with cooler, pink undertones and a soft sheen. The glossiness that it had from the very initial laydown of product disappeared as the formula dried down a bit. The texture was more watery, thin, and very spreadable initially and then developed into something thinner, clingier, and significantly less watery/emollient after thirty seconds or so. The product stained somewhat, as it definitely lingered and wore well (six hours), but it wasn’t enough of a stain to really endure through even a light meal. The formula was non-drying and flattering to wear as it did not emphasize my lip lines or lip texture. It had medium, buildable pigmentation, just as marketed. Urban Decay Vice Hydrating Lipstick Swatches (x35)

Urban Decay Vice Hydrating Lipstick Urban Decay Vice Hydrating Lipstick ($19.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a new, reformulation of Vice Lipstick. The new formula covers three finishes (high shine, cream, and matte) with a total of 35 shades. There are some returning favorites, which seemed fairly similar in color to the last iterations, but most are new shades. Most of the mattes felt like the prior Comfort Mattes with a few being closer to a typical matte (or Mega Matte from the last formula). The Creams seemed comparable to the prior Cream finish, and the High Shine finish is most comparable to the Sheer finish from before (though I’d say the High Shine shades are glossier and more gel-like). It’ll take me some time to work through and review the shades over the next few weeks, but my initial impressions are that these felt very similar to the Vice Lipstick range that debuted a few years ago.
